My parents exposed me to music from a very young age. I began more formal engagement in programs when I was 5, when I began to learn piano. I had an ear for music and began to expand my talent by performing in recitals for several years and developed a passion for the beauty of music.
I selected the option to play the bass clarinet in Middle School since I wanted to do something a bit different from the other students. I loved it! I found that I excelled at performing with it and continued to grow my skill in High School, where I received numerous Area, Region and State awards. I had the distinction of reaching the All State level all 4 years of High School. I received a scholarship to Oberlin College and Conservatory, the oldest continuously operating music conservatory in the United States and am currently pursuing a future in music there as part of the clarinet program.
I have taught others how to improve their performance on a number of instruments. If you play bass clarinet, Bb clarinet or the saxophone, reach out and perhaps there is an opportunity for me to assist you.
